Our company history began in the early 1970’s. It was then that a keen interest was sparked in the area of hot water, or hydronic, heating. As time moved on, more advanced products became available and the market grew for this type of system. “Comfort and efficiency” were the benefits and new ideas were popping up to boost energy savings and add versatility. These new ideas brought about the very first Homesteader Outdoor Furnace, the first outdoor wood furnace manufactured in Western Canada. Heat Innovations soon became the manufacturing and distribution center for hydronic heating equipment and supplies.
Since those early days of outdoor wood furnaces, we have added coal furnaces and wood/coal combination furnaces to our product line. Our continuing pursuit of new and innovative hot water products have brought forth other products such as warm air aeration, ground thaw, and ceiling heaters for high ceiling applications. Combine this equipment with a vast inventory of accessories and you have a very effective materials source for almost any hydronic system.
